Man Up

Man Up - When my kids played soccer this meant cover an opposing player.  When did it change to mean act your age or grow up?  Does anyone say, "woman up", or "girl up"?

Basically

Basically - Something is...or it isn't.  How can it be basically?   I just had a call from a salesman who said, "Basically, my name is Scott and....."   Basically your name is Scott?  Basically it was a blue car...basically I am disappointed...basically?????  I know it probably became a nervous habit back in 6th grade when you thought it made you sound smart...but basically it's not working for you anymore.

Bucket Head

Bucket List - I saw a tweet from Ruth Buzzi that said she made a bucket list: "....a 5 gallon plastic pail, 2 old drywall mud containers, and 3 galvanized buckets."  (or something close to that) I think that about sums it up!!
